Hi, we recently received a letter from one of our children who is praying for a bike. Is there a process or way we might be able to help with this? He described that many children get bicycles from their school and asked for prayers that he might get one.

You should be able to give the child a family gift...that may go to the funds for getting a new bike. Also there are birthday gifts, Christmas gifts. Just contact Compassion Int. and they will give you some more options...

When giving him a financial gift, you can request that he uses the money to purchase a bike. The family has the over all decision for what they buy with the money, but if you specify that you would like them to get a bike with the gift, they might decide to do that. :)

Hope this answers your question!
