I asked two months ago if I could lower my payment for each child I sponsor. The full amount is still going through, plus, on a few of my kids it says I have an outstanding balane. Where in fact I sould be getting a credit. Right now I am seriously considering ending my commitments to Compassion. I love the girls, and I know even if they are no longer sponsored, that they still get the full benefits of the program, which is great. I'm tired of my account meing messed up and I really need to cut back financially. I would love to still correspond with my kids, but I know that's not how it works.

Cathee, I am so sorry to hear that you are faced with such a difficult decision. I sincerely apologize that  your account has been so complicated and messed up for so long. I also want to apologize for any confusion on our end. The note that I have from a few months ago says that the representative you spoke with was under the impression that you were going to be canceling a few of your children. For this reason, they lowered the support amount for some of your children (the ones we thought you were going to keep) but not for all of them. Now, it sounds like you had intended to keep all of them at the lowered rate for now. I have covered the amount that was past due for you. Please let us know if you are wanting to cancel one or all of your sponsored children at this time.
