Add child to Compassion App

My husband & I recently added another child sponsorship. The Child’s number is TZ 031400351. He is listed under my husband (Jared Simmons with email ...). Is there anyway we could add him to this App ... so that both of our child sponsorships are on the same app? Thank you for your time and assistance.-Whitney

Hi Whitney! Yes, it is possible. We typically keep the oldest account and move the new sponsorship over. How would you like your account to be listed? Do you want to add your husband's name to your account? Would Jared and Whitney Simmons work?

That would be great! You can list it as Jared & Whitney Simmons. You can move his Sponsorship to the original account. Thank you so much. Could the billing still go to the separate credit cards (ie 1 sponsorship to one credit card & one to the original credit card as they are doing now?). Also, one more question, my original payment of $38 was made 1/2/18, my original child then became ineligible for sponsorship so there was a delay in establishing another child. When I called back, I gave the customer service agent my credit card information or said she could charge on the original card given to “guarantee my child.” I went on the Compassion app this morning and it said my account was overdue so I paid $76 this morning. From my understanding it was set up to be auto charged the 28th of every month. I just want to verify that my account will not be again deducted on 3/28/18 & my account was not charged for $38 in Feb. Once again thank you for your time.

Whitney, yes, we will keep the billing the way that it is. I  have started the process to combine accounts and keep the one that is now under Jared and Whitney Simmons. Your support is setup to be automatically withdrawn for both children on the 26th and the 28th of each month. It looks like you had called at the end of last month and February and March had not been paid yet. Everything is now up to date though.

THe billing for different children can definitely still go to different credit cards. My children were set up that way before I decided to pay ahead a year at a time at the end of last year.
