Stephen, thank you so much for wishing to bless your sponsored children's family in such a tangible and meaningful way! You are welcome to send family gifts at any time of the year! Please just keep in mind though that different parts of the world may celebrate mother's day and father's day on different days in the year than we do.

Stephen: Wikipedia has a whole article on what day Mother's Day in various countries of the world. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother%27s_Day#By_country_.28A.E2.80.93G.29 Brazil celebrates on the 2nd Sunday in May, as does the U.S.  Africa is a continent, not a country. Different countries will make their own decisions.  I suggest doing a google search for "HolidayName in CountryName"

I didn't want to give where my sponsor children are at because I am not sure if I would be putting them at risk or violating the rules of Compassion so that is why I didn't say
