Do you have an annual birthday gift commitment program? If not, why not? If so, how do I sign up and also edit the amount? Thank you!

I am another sponsor and there isn't birthday fund.  I have sponsored for about 15 years and at times had 24 kids and I have never sent a birthday card.  Yikes, right?  Obviously I have sent many financial birthday gifts.   With well over 1.5 million kids registered and SO MANY needs, that would be at least another $35 or $40 million dollars minimum they would need to raise for it and each kid would not get very much.  Sponsors that have the energy can send a musical birthday card that will go to their child, and stickers and book marks.  It doesn't need to be a lot of money to make a child feel the love.

Compassion does have a wonderful Christmas fund that is pooled for all the kids registered and I appreciate that so much!!!

Hi Laurie,

I think you're asking about signing up to have a birthday gift withdrawn from your account every year so that it arrives in time for your child's birthday.  I'm just a sponsor as well but I seem to remember this option being offered to me when I send my child's gift this year (last fall).  I didn't decide to do it so I can't remember where I found that offer.  Someone from Compassion should be able to help set this up though.

Hi Laurie! Thank you Denise and Emily for your great answers :). You may definitely choose to give your kiddo an annual birthday gift, and I would be happy to help you set this up if you'd like :). You may give $10-$100 as a birthday gift to your child in one calendar year, and if you give $60 or more, you will receive a picture along with your thank you letter! When your child receives your gift, a Compassion staff member will assist them in purchasing a gift for your child. Please let me know how I may help you :).

Hi! $25 per child per year.
Also, at the end of March we made family gifts (3x$100), and I received a confirmation email, but there's no trace of it in giving history. Could you help?
