Hi Chaniece! It looks like your sponsored child, Nandi is the only child in his family that is registered in Compassion's program.

The decision about how many children that can be sponsored per family is made by the local project leadership.
Because the project leadership knows the needs of their community better than we do, we let them decide if it is better to have one sponsored child from many families rather than multiple children from one family. They are trying to effect as many families as possible through this program.  Be assured that Nandi's siblings will benefit indirectly by things he shares and by participating in our partner church activities. Our research has shown that when just one child is sponsored, twelve other people will benefit from that one child being sponsored. This includes family members as well as other people in the community.

You can bless this sibling by sending extra stickers and other paper items with your letter to Nandi. You may also bless the entire family by sending a family gift. You may give $25-$1,000 a year and designate it as a family gift. The project director will consult with the family about what their greatest need is and help them to purchase the item(s). Compassion does not take out processing fees from any gifts, so your child and family will receive 100% of what you send.
