Hello, I just recently signed up a few weeks ago and my child's birthday is coming up in August. I was wondering how to send his birthday card? Do I mail it to Compassion or does it have to be scanned onto my account? Also does the birthday card have to include a letter from me also? I read somewhere you wouldn't deliver gifts unless a letter came with it. Last thing is if I want to send money how close should I send it in time for his birthday?

Thank you!

Hi Kiara! Welcome to the Compassion family :). The birthday card itself will count as the letter if you write in it, so no need to write an extra letter to go with it. We recommend sending birthday cards and gifts between two and three months before the child's birthday. Since your kiddo's special day is in August, I would recommend getting that sent out as soon as possible :). You can mail your child's birthday card and monetary gift to our office at:

Kiara, we would still recommend sending the birthday gift two months in advance so that we can get it to him on time :).
