Hello, I have two questions.
1) I sent a $60 birthday gift to Carlos this year. His birthday was on June 5, so he should have received something then. I haven't heard anything about whether or not he received anything, and what he received. Our kids contributed some of their own money to his birthday gift, so we were hoping to share a picture with our kids too. How can we find out? We have gotten two letters from him since then, but no mention.

2) Also, we are not able to open our most recent letter from July. Perhaps that says something about the birthday!! But I have checked back a few times, and have not been able to open it. It is greyed out. (For nearly two months now).

Thanks in advance for your help!

Rebecca, thank you so much for being so generous and blessing Carlos in such a tangible way. I would be happy to help and look in to this further for you. Regrettably, I was not able to locate your sponsorship account with your email. Could you please provide your sponsor number or Carlos' child ID so that I can locate your account? I appreciate it. However, I can give a little basic information that may help. Gifts that are over $60 should receive a picture and letter of acknowledgment. We ask that you allow six months from the time that you made the gift for the acknowledgment to be received. It takes a little bit of time to get the money transferred, exchanged in to the local currency, delivered to the project, take the picture, have the child write and then have it sent back for translation and processing. We really appreciate your patience and understanding. Letters can take two to three months to be processed and delivered. So, your letter may be in processing still. However, I would need to get in to your account to see it to know for sure. We appreciate your questions and are here to help in any way that we can. :-)
