I just wanted to mention an organization I volunteer with, Seedlings Braille Books for Children, here in Livonia, Michigan. If you are in need of braille
books for blind children, I would recommend this group, as the cost is very
reasonable, in fact, minimal, compared to other resources. They are a 501C3. Check out their website at Seedlings.org to find out more. If I can be of anymore help, please let me know. I am willing to help with a donation specifically for some books where needed. Seedlings will ship international. Your organization is doing great work. I'm happy to be a part of it! God bless the children!

Hi Rita! Thanks so much for your idea. Regrettably, we aren't able to accept books for the children in our program. However, thank you for introducing us to this organization!

Are there any specific programs within the Compassion family that provides for disabled children such as blind, deaf, other physical or learning disabilities?

Hey Kathryn! While we don't have a specific program for disabled children, we do have many programs that assist children with disabilities. The highly vulnerable child fund helps assist children who are in vulnerable situations and the medical fund assists children with medical issues and disabilities. You can find out more about these programs here: http://www.compassion.com/donate-to-c...
