Hello! I sent my sponsor child a letter for the very first time in August. I really wish I would have saved a copy of it but I was so excited to get it in the mail I totally forgot to. Is there any way I can get a copy of it?

You sent a physical letter? Once it is scanned in it will appear in your account. So just wait for it to be there

Hi Amanda! Sarah is correct that your physical letters will show up in your online account once they have been delivered to our office and processed through our system. If you have any trouble finding it, let me know so I can help!

Can I verify that my second letter went to my child? I see the Birthday card I sent but not the additional letter. I'm new to becoming a sponsor so I'm not sure about how the process works yet

Hi Kathleen! I am so happy that you chose to sponsor Genesis with Compassion. I am happy to help. I do show the birthday card that you sent for Genesis. I do not show the second letter. If you mailed this letter in, please allow seven to ten days for us to receive it. Once we receive it, we will scan it in to the system. This can take another week or so. If you processed this letter online, please check your drafts. If may not have been sent, but it should automatically save to your drafts for you. Sending the letters online is faster and there are less administrative costs for the ministry. So if you are able to do them online, I would encourage it. I appreciate that you are taking time to write to Genesis. She is going to be very excited to start to get to know you.

Hi Kathleen! I would be happy to take you through the steps to check your drafts. Once you are logged in and you are on the account summary page, on the left hand side you will see several options. One of the options says, "Write My Child," you'll click there. Once you are there, on the left hand side again, click on, "My Drafts." Then you will see your drafts listed there and you can click on the continue option to complete and send the letter. I hope this helps. -Leah
