I hand wrote my child a letter on paper and would like to send the scanned copy to her. If i upload the file as a jpeg, will she receive the letter in full letter size, or photo size? I want to be sure she can see the writing. On the photo upload tool, how big is a "full-sized photo"? Thanks!

I have done this! If the letter is 3 pages or less you can do it. Choose the choice "Upload a photo" and upload *one* photo on each page (Each page needs to be a different file), then those photos will be full size.  You can also check this at the preview stage. If it shows one page per page -- that is what your kiddo gets.  If your handwritten letter is more than 3 pages, you need to send it through the physical mail for them to get it all :(

(ETA this is a letter I created in Word last summer. It was actually longer than 3 pages so I had to send it physically. But I printed the first three pages to JPG format using a Universal Document converter to show what it would look like. WARNING: It ends up a bit blurry. I usually use Canva.com to create mixed words and pictures letter and then export to JPG -- it looks much cleaner when uploaded to Compassion. But I have noticed Canva letters take a bit longer to translate)

It needs to be saved as a .pdf file instead of a .jpg file. Text documents that are saved as .jpg will be blurry and difficult to read.

You cannot upload PDF files through the Compassion tool.
