I teach a Sunday school class at my church and in our curriculum we teach about missions and children who live in other countries. I was wondering if it was ok to let our Sunday school kids write to the child that I sponsor?

Hi Kimberly! That's a great question. Thanks so much for wanting to include your Sunday School kiddos! You can definitely do this, but to make it easier for everyone, we ask that you include something in the letter to indicate to your child that the notes they're receiving are from your Sunday School class, and of course, we still ask that you limit each letter you send to six pages. :)

Thank you.  You don't have to worry about the page limit.  Our age ranges from 4 years old to 10 years old.  We just barely got them to write 6 lines for us.  Would you prefer us to mail them to you because we also had them draw a picture for my child.  My other question is, i can type up a paragraph of what the letter says, similar to what you do when you interpret the child's language because some of my kid's handwriting is hard to read.  That way the interpreter who is probably reading these to the child will know what it is saying.

That's so sweet! Yes, mailing them would be great. If you wanted to type something up that says what the kiddos wrote, that would probably help our translators out immensely!
