I really do hope you receive a reply,I have been reading the many open hearted yearning requests for answers to there simple request of an answer from their child or children they sponsor not from a programmed handler.
I am looking at the compassion situation, and I think there are so many issues,in the back up and getting the sponsors to have answers, they have hearts as well, not to be pro broken by office inability, either by computer or the handlers. God is our driving force in this and,I wonder.

Hi Cindy! I am so sorry it has been about six months since you last heard from Andy. We are currently transitioning to our new letter system, which has had more bugs and issues along the way than we originally expected. There is currently a backlog of letters at the country offices that we are diligently working to process quickly and efficiently, knowing sponsors eagerly await to hear from their kiddos. I did check on Andy, and found that he has written a letter to you that is currently being processed. You should receive that letter soon :).

Thanks for checking. I see my letter from May is still pending as well. I hope they are able to fix soon. This is also hurting the children, as I'm sure they are wondering what is going on as well. It's too bad compassion did not send a mass mailing out to inform of the "bugs" in the new system . If they did, I did not receive.

Hi Cindy, I know that you're eager to hear from your sponsored child, as am I, but we need to keep in mind that Compassion exists solely to help children living in poverty around the world, and it's because of Compassion that we are able have these relationships with our sponsored kids. Compassion is helping millions of kids around the world, even in the midst of this letter system upgrade, where there is no other help available. I'm very glad to see these improvements happening to the letter system. I think this is what sponsors have asked for, and the implementation has been difficult but I can't imagine how complex the bugs in the system are with the software and translations and coordinating with offices all around the world. I think this new system will be amazing when it's all finished and Compassion will be able to help even more kids around the world to escape from poverty and learn about Jesus.

Cindy, we really appreciate the grace and patience that you have had. We sincerely apologize for the lack of communication on our part regarding the system issues going on. Rest assured that our field staff is fully aware of all the system changes and the bugs that have come along with that. They all have the ability to share with the children about the issues we face. It breaks our hearts to know that our precious children may be affected by these delays as well. We trust that our wonderful partners in those programs will gently explain the reasons in a way they will understand. Thank you for your heart for the children!

Thank you Christina. It is refreshing to hear your response, and a comfort to know my child's center has been informed of the delays.
