Is there any sort of option for me to be able to pick my sponsorship up again in January? I don’t want to stop sponsoring my child, but because of financial situations this semester, I have not been able to keep up with payments. I should be able to work more next semester and keep up with this, but this semester it has been extremely hard to keep any money in the bank.

I love sponsoring my compassion child. I chose to sponsor a child from the Philippines after visiting the country on a church trip and not only seeing the country, but experiencing the typhoon with them in 2014. I felt a connection with the people of the Philippines and this is actually my second child since the first child I sponsored had the opportunity to move to a city with her family and no longer needed to be a part of the program. I can see that this organization does great things and I have developed a relationship with my child’s entire family as I have written to her parents and siblings as well (since she’s only 6). I really don’t want to have to stop sponsoring this family.

Carleen, I am so sorry to hear that you are struggling so much with your finances right now. I know how nerve wracking that can be. I went ahead and covered your support through the end of December and hopefully things will get better for you in the new year. We are so grateful for your partnership and for all of the love and support that you are providing for this precious child. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
