Can’t cancel online, nor delete payment methods

You say one can cancel anytime, but actually one cannot. Theoretically, I should be able to cancel, or request cancellation, through my account online, and remove my saved payment methods, but there is no option to do this. Instead, one is required to call in order to cancel. Perhaps so I can be questioned? This is not OK. I see person after person in the support feed requesting cancellation, not finding a way to do it. You’re not open today, so no, I can’t “cancel anytime.” I have to try again tomorrow.

Hello Jghazel! Compassion doesn't put the option to cancel on your online account because we have options that will often help sponsors be able to continue instead of canceling. We like to speak with you personally in order to understand the situation to be able to best assist you. Our office is closed over weekends and certain holidays as well, yesterday included. Please let me know if there is anything Compassion could have done to serve you better. I am so sorry you need to cancel! If this is due to a financial concern, Compassion would be able to cover your support for up to three months. If that does not help, please let me know and I will cancel your sponsorship and refund the donation that was taken out yesterday.
