I don't see why not, but then, my thinking isn't what counts here. You will probably get an official answer tomorrow when they are back in the offices. If they say you can, would you be willing to send me a photo of what you are thinking of doing?

I don't think so. I believe everything has to be sent as "Documents," (I.e. Paper). They might be able to scan them, but you'll have to hear from them officially.

Bookmarks is one thing that you can still send. I just don't know what they are required to be made of.

Or can they be laminated? There are so many kinds even if I buy them, felt, paper, laminated, fabric, ribbon. I just want to assure I am sending something that can be sent. I did read they can not be metal! Thanks everyone. :)

Hi Mary! The bookmarks regrettably need to be paper (no metal, fabric, or ribbon) because we do still classify all mailed items as documents. That said, you are welcome to laminate them for preservation. Thanks so much for checking!

Thank you so much! I can make some cute paper ones as well to show our love to our little one! Is there a limit I should keep in mind? I do not want the cost to overshadow the cause. But I work with children and I can see sending several Biblical story themed bible book marks could make them come alive for her. Something like Noah's Ark themed ones. But could be over time as well. Basically does the bookmark count as one of the six sheets? Just so I can figure out how to mail it all. :) thank you so much for helping me to get started.

Mary, a bookmark would count as one of the six sheets of paper you are able to send per letter :). I know that the care and time invested in these special goodies will absolutely show your little one how much you love her!
