Can you please tell me again what determines if a card is mailed or scanned?

Hello, I sent a card last year that I thought would be mailed to my child instead of being scanned.  But, it appeared to have been scanned.  I wanted to send my 4 children musical birthday cards this year, but want to confirm rules.  Can I send a musical birthday card (which contains a battery and is not perfectly flat)?  Would they be mailed to my children and not scanned?

Also, is there a place on the website where I can see my automatic annual birthday and Christmas gifts to my children?  Lastly, is it possible for the automatic annual birthday and Christmas gift payments to be charged to my credit card on a day different than the regular monthly support payments?

Hi Douglas! Your musical cards will be physically mailed to the children, but if there is any writing on them at all, they also have to be scanned in order to be translated. This would be why your card from last year was still scanned.

Are you wanting to see that the gifts have pulled out already to keep track or are you wanting to see online if they are already set up? We can absolutely change the date that your gifts are pulled out so they don't pull on the same day as your monthly support. What day would you like them to pull out on instead?

Sarah, thank you for your response.  That makes sense now about scanning it too to be translated.  I'm glad the card was mailed.

There was a problem with the automatic birthday gift for my correspondent child for this year.  So, I was looking to see what children (sponsored and correspondent children) and when all of the automatic charges are pulled that are applicable to my account.

If the Christmas and Birthday gifts can be pulled on a different day than my regular monthly support payments that would be great.  Can you make the Christmas and Birthday gifts pull on the 5th and leave the support to pull on the 20th?

Sadly, no :(. The annual birthday and Christmas gifts will not show up online under your commitments. They will show up in the giving history after the donations have been made, but not before that.
