Great question Amanda! We do not send missionaries to work with the children in our program because we believe that the develop better with regular interaction and encouragement from local Christians. Sometimes, we organize a sponsor tour with a "work" emphasis, but it's very rare. You can check out our sponsor tours here.

Hi, I do not currently sponsor a child through Compassion, but I am interested in a mission trip overseas. Does Compassion have any mission trip opportunities for individuals that do not sponsor a child through your program? Thank you for your help,Shannon Elyshannonelizabeth@sbcglobal.net

Can you arrange for a church group to go to the village of your sponsored child and work with the school/center there for several days - either construction, or education?
We were wondering if we could make arrangements to take our youth group to the village of our sponsored child and do something there - help with construction, teach, etc? Of course we would like to meet our child while we are there!
