I do not appreciate being given another child without my permission. I am canceling and there is no where to do it. Please cancel my account and all information. I do not want emails or anymore mail.

Lisa, I am so sorry for the frustration and inconvenience.  I have removed this new child from your account today. 

With the majority of sponsors asking to sponsor another child immediately after one child leaves the program, we have a system in place that automatically sends out a packet with information on a new child to consider for sponsorship. Included in that packet is a request for the sponsor to let us know if they do not wish to sponsor the new child. The request states that if the sponsor does not contact Compassion within a certain length of time, the child will be automatically accepted onto their account. Because we had sent the request with the packet in February, and hadn't heard back from you, we accepted Kelly as your sponsored child. I apologize if you did not receive this letter of explanation. 

Lastly, as you requested, I have removed you from all of our email and mailing lists.

This happened to me too! Why would you automatically enroll people with new sponsorships without their permission?! What a sleazy thing to do. Please remove the sponsorship from my profile that I did not agree to. I will not be sponsoring with this company any longer.

Emily, I am very sorry that this has been so frustrating and offensive. Please know our heart is simply to see precious children sponsored. As you requested, I have removed your sponsorship from your account.
