Cancel monthly sponsorship. Remain connected to sponsored children without montly commitment?

I've tried to contact regarding canceling our sponsorships. Unfortunately our financial situation has changed and we can no longer afford. I haven't heard back and continue to receive requests for payment. Also wanted to know if we can continue to remain connected with the children that we sponsored even if we aren't giving monthly?

I would advise you to contact Compassion and speak to a representative by phone. Sometimes sponsors do have financial hardships and can no longer continue the monthly support. If it is a short term hardship, Compassion may do what they can to keep you connected to your sponsored child. Once you end your sponsorship, you will not continue to have contact with your child. Compassion will begin to look for a new sponsor in which case then a relationship will be build between the child and the new sponsor.

Hi Mackenzie, unfortunately I am in a similar situation. I recently graduated college and with my student loans and trying to support myself, I am not in a financial place to be able to continue my sponsorship. Please help me cancel my membership, thank you
