I used the sponsor number YOU sent me to establish an account and it rejects it. I am in no mood for wasted admin expense as stewardship. Get this fixed in 24/today or invalidate and cancel account. And don't plead with sponsors if you can't service them efficiently. The children deserve better service. and as for below, please, that is childish....I am feeling....

I am just another sponsor, but I work for two jobs and a volunteer position that all involve technology, and frankly, sometimes it lets us down. It is not due to laziness or even incompetence--there are so many permutations of computers, OSs, bandwidth, etc. etc.--not to even mention user error. I'm sorry what for me has been the best and most important experience in my life seems to be starting badly for you, but I can tell you that Compassion is an amazing organization, and they care very much about the children AND the sponsors. Extraordinary effort is put into fostering the best possible relationships between us and our kiddos. I know you will hear from the "real" folks today, and they will help fix whatever the issue is here, but please know that things will be worked out for you.

I whole-heartedly agree, Julie!  I think people need to have more patience and "compassion" for these wonderful people who are changing the lives of these kids in poverty every day!  I know the technical issues are very frustrating, and I'm sure they are just as, if not MORE frustrating, for the Compassion employees!  But they are trying their hardest to work through all of these tech problems and glitches in the system.  It would be helpful to them, I'm sure, if people weren't so harsh and quick to judge when inevitable problems arise.  It IS an amazing organization, and as Julie stated, it is also one of my "best and most important experiences in my life" as well.  I plan on staying with them as long as I am financially able.... hopefully for many, many years to come!  Hopefully you can have some faith and stick with it, Jess, and undoubtedly it will be such a worthwhile experience for you too!

Hi Jess. I'm not sure I really understand your post. It sounds like you had a problem creating your online account, but maybe you also have questions about Compassion's financial integrity as well as the services that the children are receiving? You can read all about Compassion's programs and financial integrity by going to their website and clicking on the "About Us" drop down at the top. I really think Compassion does an amazing job managing admin expenses and implementing their programs to the kids.

Jess, I am so sorry that you have been encountering issues when trying to set up an online account, especially as a first time sponsor. I am sending you an email immediately with the sponsor number that you should use when creating the account, and would be happy to help get it created for you if you continue to have issues. We will get this figured out for you!

Sometimes I wonder if these people who act so mean are just trolls. Pretending to care about children but really looking for some way to make trouble.thank you for your kind and patient responses. Each one of you are a credit to your organization.

I am also unable to sign in and I cannot reset my email because it tells me the both the sponsor #'s I have are incorrect.

It was 2544226 it may have been changed to 01900761, but neither works now.
