Cancel sponsorship

Good morning Curtis, 

I am so sorry that you are thinking of canceling your sponsorship of Akpene. Please know that we truly value our supporters and we would be blessed to able to help you keep your relationship with this sweet young lady. If your request is due to a short term financial situation, Compassion would be happy to cover three months of sponsorship for you to allow you a small break from the financial commitment. This means we would completely cover the months of November through January. In addition, we would be happy to place you on a reduced rate of sponsorship for the following three months. This means that for the months of February through April your donation would be reduced to $19 per month. However, if you still feel it is best to cancel your sponsorship, please let us know and we will be happy to fulfill your wish to cancel.

She will remain in Compassion's program while we search for another sponsor for her. If you would like, you may write Akpene a final letter.
