Cannot Register Account

I'm having a lot of trouble creating an account. I signed up to sponsor using my Gmail, got a "Thanks for sponsoring" message, but for some reason I'm unable to register an account. I never got any sort of verification email. I gave my Gmail - sent it to socialmedia @ compassion .com like I was instructed, but never heard back.

Hi Kelly! Welcome to the Compassion family! :) Compassion's offices are closed on the weekends so it might be Monday before they can help you sort out your account, but I saw where one of the ladies at Compassion was helping you in this other post yesterday and it sounds like they were having trouble with the Gmail address that you gave. Also, maybe you already have an account set up? Have you tried resetting your password with either of your email addresses instead of going through the new account setup? My hope is that will help you get logged in.

It wouldn't let me reset my username or password. I followed the link you gave and entered my email, but it said it needs a username. I've tried several times, but haven't been able to create a username/account.

Oh, I see Kelly. I didn't realize that was a required field on the form. I'm sorry that idea didn't work, but I'm sure the ladies at Compassion will be able to help you get logged in after the weekend. Have a great rest of your weekend!

Kelly, we don't have an account set up for you yet because the sponsorship has not yet been processed. Once your account has been set up, you will be able to create an online account. It usually takes a few days for the account to be set up if you sponsored the child online.
