Change birthday card template every year?

I think it would be a good idea if, on the online letter-writing site, Compassion would change the birthday card template every year.

I wanted to send my child a birthday card online, but there is only one birthday card template available, and upon checking my letter-writing history I discovered it is the same template that I sent last year. I don't want to send the same birthday card every year. Last year, right after I sent the online birthday card, I received a mailing from Compassion with a birthday card for me to write in and sent to my child. The card that I received in the mail has a different picture on the front, as well as a different type of 'game' on the back. I could just send that card this year, but I find it so handy to include picture pages online.

I agree that this is a good idea and have thought the same about the Christmas cards-- that new options could be added every few years. There are four choices for Christmas cards this year, and I only remember two from last year, so maybe they did add more, which is great! When the letter-writing system is functioning smoothly (that's the priority right now), hopefully they will add new cards and letter stationery. In the meantime, you could use one of the general card options ("You are God's Handiwork" or "You are Special"), and just write "Happy Birthday" as part of your message. :)

Hi Beth and Laura! Thank you so much for your helpful feedback! I completely understand your desire to send fun and new birthday and Christmas cards electronically each year :). I have given your suggestions to the appropriate team, and hopefully we will be able to make these improvements in the coming updates to our online letter writing tool. Thank you and have a blessed day!
