Question,
On my Sponsorship form it says last correspondence date: 9/22/2017.
Is that line to show last time she wrote me?
It was 9/6/17 prior....does this me I have two letters on the way?

Thanks
Bre

Hi Bre! Great question! This is the date of the last time a letter has been sent both to and from your child. In your case, this is the date of your last letter to Nathalia.

Hi Bre!
Have we looked into this issue for you before? I am not sure why her account would be any different than other kiddos accounts. However. I see she is the only child on this account. Do you have multiple account with us?  I would be happy to see if our tech support team knows why you do not get notifications for her account but you do for others. Thank you for getting back with us!

I only have one child. However on this forum i have seen other sponsors can see that they have incoming letters from their child ie. It shows letter in progress and letter in translation. My account has never showed this and i don't know why some sponsors have that access and others do not. All i recieve is the email when i get a letter. Not sure if this is normal.

Bre, for the longest time I didn't get those "in progress" notes either. I think as soon as the letter was translated and put on the account, it was visible and readable on my end. NOW I have some though. There is some sort of slowdown going on so I've got some weird visible letters that I can't read yet. BUT -- when they finally become accessible, I still get the email.

Here is what it looks like -- with what happens when you click on the yellow line. Usually, on 9-12, that letter from Daniel would have appeared in my email and I'd be able to read it. Right now, Ecuador seems to be having some problems so instead it is "In Translation"

I do not have that at all.
Compassion can you see why I don't have this feature?

It's not a feature and it does not happen in every letter I send/receive. Only the ones that are delayed for some reason.  (I believe this case is because Ecuador is in the process of upgrading their computer system.)  I much prefer when things are working right and I get the replies as soon as they show up in the system, instead of teasing me that I have a letter from my kid but I cannot read it yet. And when I send letters (electronically) and they flow smoothly through to be viewable on my account within 24-36 hours.

Hi Bre! I'm so sorry for any confusion regarding the status of your letters online. Right now I see that all of your previous letters to and from Nathalia have gone through, so there wouldn't be any status next to them. However, I do see a new letter you just wrote to Nathalia on September 22nd that is in translation. When you go to Write My Child, My Letters, and then Conversations, are you seeing your letter on September 22nd in translation? Also, will you please provide additional information to help us locate the root cause to this issue? Is this happening on the mobile application as well? What browser are you using? Please ensure your browser is up to date. Also, please clear your browser history, cache, and cookies, and then please start a fresh session to test this. Thank you!

It does show my letter is in translation. I had just seen other sponsors publish what sarah had and wondered why my account didn't have anything. I'm just trying to be patient for a letter since she usually sends one every 2 months (minus the initial one i recieved). I got one FEB, MAR, MAY, and JUL so i got used to the quick turn around.
I have two more months before her thank you note for the gift is due so just was on the look out is all.

Hi Bre!
Thank you for the additional information! As Sarah was explaining the only reason you will have additional status' and things of this nature is when there is a delay or issue with your letter. I am glad you are able to see your current letter is in translation, so at least we know if there were an issue with your letter it would come through.
Wow! It is incredible to be receiving so many letters! That is true blessing! Lets keep our fingers crossed you get your thank you letter very soon! :)

Hi,
My correspondent child, Kauanny, shows the last correspondence date for her as 1/23/18. Since I have not received a notification that i have an incoming message from her.  Is this because she wrote to her financial sponsor? Would that show up on my account? Thanks!

Did you write a letter to her on 1-23-18? Usually that date reflects the last time I wrote the child. Occasionally it is an indication their financial sponsor has written. Look on the letter list to see what letter has that date if you do not remember writing

Hi Bre! Since you became Kauanny's correspondent a little bit after her financial supporter started sponsoring her, the stationary printed out at the country office for Kauanny's first letter had her financial supporter's information on it. Therefore, the last correspondence date of 1/23/2018 is indeed Kauanny's first letter that was addressed and delivered to her financial supporter. All of her future letters should be addressed to you though :). Since this letter is Kauanny's introduction letter and doesn't reveal any personal information about the financial supporter, I am happy to send you a copy of her letter which I am emailing to you now :). Please let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns. Have a blessed day!
