Hi, we received a photo of our child with the items she bought with her last $60 gift we sent. According to the picture and letter she got a uniform, underwear, 2 short leggings, a pair of socks and a plain blouse. Is clothing super expensive in Columbia right now? It seemed odd because in America I feel like you could have bought more than that for $60 and I know in the past she has been able to buy a lot more with the $60. Just kinda concerned me.

Hi Kayla,

Thank you so much for blessing your sweet child with this gift!

Here are some up to date prices for these types of items:
School uniform:  100,000 (Colombian Pesos) = $32 US Dollars
Dress:  72,000 (Colombian Pesos) = $23 US Dollars

Please keep in mind that when you send a gift we also utilize 10% of the gift for administration costs. All this considered, I would say these prices add up just about perfectly. I am so sorry I don't have exact numbers on the exact items purchased, but I think these items are pretty similar.

I hope this helps! :)

Ok, that makes more sense after knowing how much the uniform costs. Thanks!
