Hello! My sponsorship number is 07963560. I made my account before I had that number, hoping I’d be able to add it later but now I can’t so my child isn’t in my account! My child’s number is CO038300461. I read other similar issues and know the system is often backed up, but I’m hoping to get it fixed sooner by giving these numbers. Please help, thank you!

Hi Eastan! Thank you so much for choosing to bless sweet Franky with your love and support! I'm so sorry for this confusing situation of not seeing Franky on your account. When you fill out a form to sponsor a child at an event, it may take a couple of weeks for us to receive that packet, create your account, and send you your child's welcome booklet in the mail. We created an account for you with the information from your completed form, and your sponsor number is 07963560. However, we could no place Franky on your account yet because your payment method said "pay later". Therefore, we sent you a letter in the mail with options to make your first donation. In the meantime, we placed Franky on hold for you. 

When you went online and registered a My Account without using your sponsor number, a completely new and separate account was created for you with a different sponsor number. Please rest assured that I have sent a request to our wonderful processing team to combine these two accounts for you. Please know that it may take 3-5 business days for this request to be processed. The sponsor number you will continue to use is 07963560. However, you have not registered your online My Account using this specific sponsor number, so you will still need to do this. Once you have registered your My Account with sponsor number 07963560, you will be able to make your first-time donation for Franky by going to www.compassion.com/epayment. After you make your first payment for Franky and it has been processed, you will be able to see your sweet boy on your account :).

Thanks so much! We made our first payment a few days ago so I’ll give it time to process.

In terms of the account, now that I made an account and have a different sponsor number, I don’t see anywhere that I could register my correct number as you suggested to do.

Great! Thank you so much for making the first contribution for Franky! For your account, you will need to create a new one with this sponsor number, 07963560. When you go to our website, at the top there will be a few links that say My Account or Log In. If you click either one, it will bring you to the same page. On the right hand side, there will be a button that says Create Account. You may place your sponsor number listed above, your zip code and your desired username and password in the boxes provided. After you have completed this, this will be your new account. After the contribution for Franky has been fully processed, you will be able to see Franky on this account! If you have any further questions, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you! :)
