Child Sponsorship not showing on my Account

I just sponsored two children less than an hour ago. The money for both children has been taken out of my bank account but my sponsorship account still says I don’t have any current sponsorships. I am just curious as to when the two children I sponsored will actually show on my account so I can start writing them letters and things like that. Thank you!!

Likely they will be there in a few hours (I had one child show up in less than 24 hours -- on a weekend!). It is possible it could take as much as a week or two. It is even possible one will appear on your account very quickly and the other will go through a more manual process and take longer.

As of right now, it has been approximately 16 hours since I began sponsoring both children and the website still says I’m not sponsoring any children. But I did receive two emails from Compassion telling me thank you for my sponsorships and that I would receive introductory packets in the mail within 2 weeks. So I’ll just keep an eye out, I guess. Maybe there will be more information in the packets.

Hi Ashton! It does take time for sponsorships to be set up when they are done online. We are working to get your sponsorships processed for you, and you will be able to see your children online when we are able to finish them :).

Thank you so much for replying and putting my mind at ease. I was just making sure it wasn’t a computer glitch or something. I was so excited to sponsor those little boys and when I didn’t see them I thought, “Oh no! What happened??” But I am glad to know that everything is working out properly. :)
