I think I may have missed the deadline to send a Christmas gift to my sponsored child. When was the deadline? If it has passed, can I still donate?

Hi Debbie! Thank you so much for your desire to bless your kiddo in this tangible way for Christmas! The last day to give Christmas gifts was October 31st. However, we are still accepting Christmas gifts! The way the Christmas Gift Fund works is that we will evenly split all the money up between all the children in Compassion. We have already sent the amount of money needed to buy your child a gift. Therefore, when you give your Christmas gift after the deadline, you are simply reimbursing us for the gift funds that we have already sent to the field. I'm sure that Sandiana will be so excited to receive her Christmas gift from you!

Is there a specific spot to donate for Christmas gifts? I donated through "additional giving" will that work?

If a package was mailed tomorrow, would it reach them by Christmas?

Hi Anna! It is very possible that it would reach your child by Christmas, but I cannot guarantee it. We are seeing letters still take between two and three months to reach the children. I would absolutely encourage you to still send it, because your child will be so excited to receive something special from you for Christmas even if it does get there late!
