Does my Christmas gift donation go towards my sponsored child? | Compassion International Customer Community

When I do a Christmas donation does that money go towards my sponsored child? In my account it shows that his Birthday gift donation goes directly towards him. However when I donated to the Christmas gift fund it doesn't say if it goes to him specifically.

For Christmas only, all donations are pooled together and every child is bought a gift. This is so that unsponsored children are able to receive a gift at Christmas too.
This is taken from the Christmas donation page:
"Here's How It Works:

Everyone in Compassion's program receives a gift! We combine all donations to purchase gifts of equal value so no one is left out. Your participation is so important to make this possible.
Presents are purchased locally and are given out at a special Christmas program celebrating the birth of Jesus!"
