Christmas gift money was due on October 31, 2015 and I was unable to donate for a Christmas Gift at that time. My payday isn't until November 6, 2015. Can I still send money for the Christmas Gift for my sponsored child? Will he get it in time with the other children? I do not want him to not have a gift at Christmas. Please advise. Thanks so much.

Hi Linda! Thank you so much for your care and concern for your sponsored child and wanting to ensure that they receive a gift at Christmas! Please rest assured that, even though you were not able to donate to the Christmas Gift Fund for this year, your sponsored child will still receive a gift this Christmas and they will be told that gift is from you. All of the money collected through the Christmas Gift Fund is pooled together and divided amongst all the children so that each and every child in Compassion's program receives a gift at Christmas.

If you would still like to put those funds towards a gift for your child, you're always welcome to send a financial gift to your individual child. It takes about 2-3 months for a financial gift to reach our sponsored kids. At this point in time your gift might reach them after Christmas Day, but please know that even if that was the case it would still be viewed as an enormous blessing by your sponsored child and their family.

Also, one more thing in addition to Adam's response, you can give to the Christmas Fund at any time :) If you wish to give to this particular fund on Nov 6th, (or any other date) it will help insure every child can receive a Christmas Gift next year instead of this year :)
