Christmas Gift fund question

i sponsor 1 child fully and have 9 children who I am assigned as a correspondent to. My husband and I are signed up to volunteer for a Compassion Concert in June. His Company donates to charity of our choosing $15 per hour volunteered. We just filed for a concert we worked at last weekend and donated to Compassion International in general. I wanted to start donating these hours to the Christmas fund until we’ve donated enough to cover the amount suggested per child for our correspondent kids. I think the company has a note that goes with the donation when sent to Compassion. If my understanding is correct about all this, will money donated this way be able to go make its way to the Christmas fund? Can it be donated to the Christmas fund at anytime during the year? Is $20 per child the suggested donation? Thank you. If this isn’t clear, please ask me to clarify.

Hello Ann! All matching gifts go towards either the Partners of Compassion fund or Where Most Needed Fund. I believe this is the same for gifts given in response to volunteer hours served, but you are welcome toemail sdpmatchinggifts@compassion.comfor more information on this type of gift in particular. They are the experts on these type of gifts in particular :).
