Hello,
I sent a Christmas gift to my sponsored child, Nicholas, of (I think) $60 and was told that by giving this amount I would receive a photo of my sponsored child with his Christmas gift. When will I receive this photo?

I know Compassion staff will be able to go into your account, and answer this for you, but was wondering if you sent this as a child gift, or as a Christmas donation?  If you sent it as a Christmas donation, all those are put together into a Christmas fund and divided up equally for the kids in the program, sponsored and unsponsored so that everyone gets the same amount.  If you sent it as a Christmas donation, you would not get a picture.  If you sent it has a child gift, since it's only March, it might be too early to get a picture back.  If you do, it should be attached to the letter where he thanks you for the gift.

I sent it before Christmas. I'm not sure which type of donation it was, but when I chose the option of a specific amount there was a note that said I would receive a photo after he received his gift. It might be that I just have yet to receive his thank you letter with the photo attached.

Hi Casey! The gift you generously sent to Nicholas was given in November. The gift was a child gift that goes directly to him, so you should expect to receive the photo and a thank you letter by May. If you don't receive those by May 23, please let us know and we will happily send an inquiry for you. I am sure he and his family were greatly blessed by your thoughtfulness!
