Hi Debra! I'm not exactly sure which communication regarding Christmas you received in the mail. Was it a insert included with a letter or letter stationary to write to your girl for Christmas? Christmas gifts work differently than other gifts because we pool all the Christmas donations together in order to purchase gifts for every child in the program. You don't technically need a communication regarding a Christmas gift for each of your children, sponsored or correspondent children, since we pool the funds. You will not receive a photo in return if you give a $60 Christmas gift. The only way to get a photo in return for those gifts would be to send them as general child gifts. If they arrive around Christmas, it will be pretty clear to the kids and their families that you were giving them in celebration of the holiday even if they aren't designated specifically as Christmas gifts. If  you do that, your kids will still get Christmas gifts from the pooled Christmas fund as well and they are told that their gift from the fund is from you. You are welcome to also send a gift to your correspondent girl.

Also on the form it only goes from $25 to $50 and so on is there a way I can send a different amount???? I was thinking I would send each $35

My Christmas correspondence had 4 pieces of stationary in it, one sheet for each of my sponsored kids. I'm not expecting to get the correspondence for my correspondent kids.

Hi ladies! I just wanted to let you know that I did check on this for you. You should receive a copy of the Christmas stationary for each child you sponsor, up to 4 children. However, we will not be sending the stationary out for correspondent kiddos. Please know if you wish to have additional copies or we do not send enough for your kiddos, the same stationary is available online as Leah mentioned below. :)

Hello Debra, I am happy to hear that you are preparing to send your children Christmas letters and gifts. Thank you for blessing them in such a loving way. The appeals (cards and giving forms) for Christmas are sent out by our marketing team. Regrettably, I do not have a way to request more to be sent out. However, we do offer our cards and stationery on our website and through the mobile app. So, you can log in and send them electronically to each one of your children. The other advantage to sending letters and/or cards online is that they digitally process and do not have to come through the Global Ministry Center to be processed. You can also make your Christmas gift donations online as well. You are welcome to send in any amount that you feel called to give. You can cross out the amount on the form and write in the number that you are sending. If you do send in a check, please write a brief note explaining how you would like the funds allocated. We appreciate you taking the extra time to do this and it allows our processing team to honor your request more proficiently. Thank you for all that you do for Compassion and the children in our program. God bless!
