If I send my child a gift of $100.00 for Christmas, it says 1x (100.00). does that mean it is divided up also? Just making sure we are doing this correctly.

Not staff but if you send it as a child gift, your child gets the full amount minus 10% administration fee (covers things like currency exchange, staff time to help pick out the items the family decides to buy etc)

If you send it as a Christmas gift fund it goes into the main pool and is combined with all other people's donations to the fund and then the total amount is equally divided to make sure that every child in the program whether sponsored or not, gets a gift for Christmas.

hope that helps.
