I would like to send Christmas cards to my kids soon, since it takes about 2 months for my letters to get to them, and vice versa. Should I include the envelopes that come with the cards (unsealed, of course)? And if so, should I put our names and identifying numbers on the cards, or the envelopes? I guess this question applies to birthday cards as well. What would be easiest for Compassion and the translators?

I'm so glad you're thinking of sending cards early! I should probably start looking for cards for my sponsored children.

If you can include the envelope, I would. Make sure to write your sponsor number and child's reference number on the card and the envelope. I know its an extra step, but it will be worth it to make sure they stay together.

If I want to send my child (in central america) a Christmas card, when should I mail it to ensure delivery?
