Hi Lisa!

We encourage our sponsors to give to the Christmas Fund, as this allows all children In Compassion's program to benefit from your gift. You can learn more about this fund here: www.compassion.com/christmas

We also encourage you to send a Christmas card to your child. You can use our new template feature on "My Account" or you can still send your correspondence to:

Send a greeting card where you can record your voice and wish your child Merry Christmas in your own words! Include stickers and character band aids.

Are American-ized greeting cards okay to send? what if I found a recordable audio Christmas card, but there is a picture of santa on it?

Honestly, it may depend on the country. Typically, we tell sponsors to try to keep the card as general as possible if you are not sure of how it may be accepted in your child's culture. Here is a great blog regarding sharing holiday information with your sponsored child: http://blog.compassion.com/how-do-i-s...
