Is there a way for us to write to our child's parents or siblings?

Hi Tisha,

Thank you so much for your kind heart to want to speak directly with your sponsor child's family! You are welcome to address them in a letter you are writing to your child. Some of our supporters choose to do this on a regular basis. You can always write a small note to your child and then below add something like, please share this with your siblings/ parent/ whoever you are directing it to, and then write them a small note. You may hear back from them directly, or you may not, but it is always worth a try! :)

I usually mention my child's family in some way. She's told me that they read the letters together, and I'm sure many kids do the same, or at least share their letters with friends and family. I generally assume they're all seeing/hearing what I'm writing. :)

I always send greetings to my sponsor kids parent(s), siblings and best friends. I always ask something because in some of the letters I've reveived, my kiddos will mention something about them. One of my girls has a special uncle in her life so I always send greetings to him
