Hi, I am trying to get my company to match my donation to Compassion.  It was rejected citing that Compassion is a religious affiliated organization.  I asked them to reconsider and they said they just need confirmation from you guys that Compassion is not affiliated with a church.  I need this in an email so that I can forward it to my company.  I sent an email to ciinfo@us.ci.org requesting this but have not yet received a response.  Is there another email that I should send this request to?  I do not see a contact email address on your site. Thank you!

Soo, I am so sorry you did not receive a response to your email. We are currently responding to emails from 24 hours ago, so if you sent if prior to that, regrettably it looks like we may not have received your email. Also, regrettably, I do not believe this request would be possible to fulfill. Compassion is a para-church organization providing holistic child development, we only partner with local churches around the world to administer our program and supports. While we are not affiliated with just one church, we are affiliated with churches. That is how our program is setup and this does regrettably limit the type of funding we can receive. In fact, we are not able to receive federal aide for this reason. I apologize that we would regrettably not be able to truthfully state that we are not affiliated with a church in order to receive matching gifts.
