Why did Syena Veronika Kakunsi get added to my account. I have no idea who this child is and I DO NOT want to sponsor her!!! Take her off my account NOW!

So sorry. I thought I was filling out a complaint form to send to compassion directly.  I didn't know if was a public message board.

Not trying to tear down and smear compassion.  Just trying to get to the bottom of why they replaced my 17 year old compassion child with a 4 year old.

Why don’t you mind your own business and learn to type proper English?

I am so sorry for your frustration Allyson. I know it can be hurtful and frustrating when these things happen. Here at Compassion, we value integrity with our sponsors and everyone we come in contact with. Let me take a minute to explain what happened in this situation. When Erika Cahya Wulandari, in Indonesia left the program, we sent you Syena Veronika Kakunsi to consider for sponsorship. We ask that sponsors in this situation let us know within five weeks, if they do not wish to take on the sponsorship of that child. I am so sorry if you did not receive that information or if it was confusing in any way. I did go onto your account and remove Syena from your account for you.

As a reminder to everyone, please be courteous and respectful of each other on this page. We are all here to help release children from poverty in Jesus' name.

Did you sign up as a correspondent? Or if a sponsored child of yours recently graduated or had to leave the program for another reason, they may give you the option to sponsor another child. Or it may be a simple clerical error. I’m sure they can resolve this for you on Monday.

Hello Kristin! I appreciate you trying to help. Yes, it was a child that left the program and a new child was sent out. We have removed the child on the account. Have a blessed week!

Hello.  Sorry that this was posted publicly.  I thought that I was sending this to compassion directly and not a message board.  But since you responded here, so will I. Feel free to email in the future.

If you send a letter, and someone doesn't respond....you should do nothing until you hear from them.  You don't assume that they would like to replace their 17 year old compassion child with a 4 year old that they will have to sponsor for many many years to come.

If you are going to randomly assign children, at least match the age to the child that they lost.  That is where my biggest frustration comes from.  I feel compassion strategically added a 4 year old to my account because you saw my time to sponsor was almost up.

I do not agree with your procedures or the lack of attempts to get in touch with me.  I'd love for you to email me more about this process.

Thanks.
