Hello,

I recently received a letter from my child Aziza who advised me that she and her family were recently kicked out of her deceased grandmother's home they were living in.

As you can imagine, my heart sank when I read this because I feel helpless.  I didn't want to pry too much but I did ask some questions but have not heard back from her.  Along with this letter I received a picture of whatever she purchased with the holiday gift I sent her and they were able to purchase the metal sheeting that I think goes on the roof of the house that she said they will be constructing.

I will be sending a family gift because I know they must have to get more supplies for the construction of the home but I wanted to ask if the compassion center that she attends would assist in making sure my child and her family are somewhere safe while they build a home?  I have prayed about this news and I know that God has already taken over the situation but I'm still super concerned for Aziza and her family.

I would appreciate any response from a compassion staffer regarding this sort of situation.

Thanks

Hello Angelslegacy! I can completely understand and share your concern for your precious child and her family. Though I don't know the full situation of what has happened, I do know that the Lord is taking care of her family and will see them through this time. The church will do everything they can to make sure that your child and her family are able to find a stable living situation again. One of the best parts about Compassion working through the local churches is that the (global) Church is a community who cares for its members. I have no doubt that her local church leadership and community will be helping out in the ways they can to care for this family. I will personally be praying over Aziza as well as I know that must be an incredibly hard situation to be in for such a little girl. Keep encouraging her with the words the Lord places on your heart as I am sure you have been :).
