The "write my child" list indicates that I have an unread letter from our young lady in Thailand, while the communications n history shows the letter (twice, in case that matters) as still being in translation. Can you tell me whether the letter has been translated, and if so, help me access it?

I am having the same issues. I have several notifications saying I have a new letter but some still say "have a problem" or "in translation" when I go to open them. I have one that has finished translation from Haryeit but cannot be opened. Are these issues part of the glitch? Thanks and God bless!

I have a similar issue. I have a message that says I have one unread letter but when I click, I have two letters from one of my girls and both say that the letter has been submitted to the local field office for processing.

Debi, is this the letter from Sunita? If so, this letter is still in translation as I am writing this post. It is not able to be accessed because it is in translation. I imagine that it will be able to be viewed by Monday.

Yep, that's the one. This letter has appeared to exist before and then disappeared, so I'm happy to know that it exists, and even happier to hear that it will likely arrive soonish :)
Thanks, Susan!

Hi... I'm back :)
The letter has shown "cancelled" now for about a week. Is this one of those bugs where it has to be processed manually for some reason? (She is a sponsored child rather than a correspondent, in case that is relevant.)

Hey Debi, that letter was actually cancelled because Sumita didn't write anything in the section "Questions for Sponsor". Her project is having her write something in there and then submitting it again :).

Heather, the letter from Niyoniringiye in Rwanda was taken out of the queue because our system was not recognizing your correspondent relationship with him. A human staff member needs to go in and clear the errors so that you can receive this letter. I am checking on this for you to make sure we can get this letter to you.

Chantel, it looks like you have several in translation but all of them appear to be going through just fine. Check back on Monday and they should be there.

Chantel, the issue with your letter is different from the other issue you are describing. Please know that we are checking into this new issue and I sincerely hope that your letter shows up real soon.

Can you please check the status of the 4/21/16 letter from Yomaity on your end. On my end, translation has been complete for two weeks but I still haven't been able to read it.

Hi Chantel! Translation is also showing as complete on our end as well but it's not yet finished processing. Once it's finished, it will allow you to 'View' and read it. Rest assured that it's not lost and nothing is wrong in this stage. I know it's hard to wait when you can see that status but thank you for being patient! I know you're so eager to read her letter!

That makes sense however, the letter from Haryeit in NI was showing translation complete but there is now "envelope" for me to open to read the letter. Could this be because it was written in March? Thankd

Heather, no, I don't think so. From the looks of things, the same thing that happened with Niyoniringiye's letter has also happened with Haryeit's letter. I'll check on that one too though. Thank you for your patience as we work through these issues.

Jenn, I am so sorry for the issues you have been experiencing with the letters from your children. There is actually a second page to Anju's letter with the translation on it. I am emailing you his full letter. Regrettably, some of the other letters you mentioned are still in process. Our system is not always recognizing correspondent relationships. This means that it gets taken out of the automatic queue and a human has to go in and manually send the letter. Because there have been so many letters like this, we are currently in a backlog. This is why some letters have been in there for several weeks. Please rest assured that your letters are there and will be available soon.

Page 2 doesn't come through at all.
But thank you for explaining it to me, I appreciate knowing that I'll get to see them. I just didn't want to wait for something and find out they're not coming. Thank you!
