I received a new correspondence child sometime at the end of last year. His name is Javier from Colombia. I have never received a first letter or any letters from him so far. Also, my little girl Aracelly still being spelled with 3 Ls instead of two like she spells it in her letters since I've been sponsoring her. Can this be corrected?

Hi Kim! Thank you so much for already writing three letters to Javier despite not hearing from him! I know it means a lot to him but I also know you must be so eager to get to know him too. I have great news for you. He has actually written a letter and it's in translation right now! When it's finished, it will post and show up on your My Account for you to read! :) Thanks for being so patient as he wrote a letter to you.

I'm so sorry that Aracelly's name has not yet been corrected in our system. If there's an error we certainly want to correct it. But if she's spelling it wrong in her letters, we definitely want to help her spell it correctly. It may have been a typo in our system when she was first registered into our program. Back in 2014, we had discussed this issue with you and we were just waiting to receive a copy of one of the letters you've received from her so that we can verify the correct spelling with our field staff. In order to send an inquiry to our office in Nicaragua to inquiry about the spelling of her name, we need a copy of a letter she's written to show that she spells her name differently in her letters to you than what shows in our records :). Thankfully, with our new system, I can now see letters your children write to you. I'm sending them a copy of one of her letters right now and we'll work on getting her name updated for you!

Thank you so much for the updates! I greatly appreciate all the effort and time you've taken to look into these issues. I have updated awhile back to still receive the letters by mail. I'll check it again.
