Correspondent child lost his sponsor

I received a letter that one of the correspondent children i have has lost his sponsor. I was telling a friend about this and she has someone interested in sponsoring him.  It said in the letter he would remain on my account for 30 days.  He is no longer on my account but here is his information.  Clarens Bigot HA2761350. Would she just be able to call and give Compassion this information to sponsor him?

Hi Casey! I am so excited to hear that you found someone who may be interested in sponsoring Clarens! Will your friend be assuming both the financial responsibility for him as well as the correspondence or are you going to remain the correspondent for this child? 

Please ask the person interested in sponsoring Clarens to call our office (800) 336-7676 or email us at socialmedia@compassion.com (with their full contact information). We will create an account for them at that time. If you're still going to continue the letter writing relationship, please ensure that your friend mentions that in the call and has the child number available. May I ask the sponsor's first name so that I can note this information on your account and we can be prepared for when they call/email us to verify it's the correct person?

Emily, sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. It will be Gary and Kala Soward who will be sponsoring him. I gave them Clarens child number and told them they would have to call in. I will still be his correspondent and told her to mention that as well. :)

Great, Casey! We will wait to hear from Gary and Kala and will be happy to process your request at that time. Please ask them to contact us before April 2nd so that we can ensure he is not sponsored by someone else :).

Yes, once they confirm that they would like to sponsor Clarens, we will link him to an account under their name. At the same time, we will link him to your account as the correspondent and you will be able to see him right away. :)

Hi, again! I received a message today that my correspondent Jekky had lost his sponsor. I did not get to call before closing today to make him available for sponsorship because I cannot take him on at this time. We will certainly continue to pray for Jekky. Could you please make him available and place me back on the waiting list for a child 14 or older? Thank you and have a blessed weekend!

Good morning, Heather! I'm sorry that Jekky's sponsor was not able to continue supporting him :(. I know it can be hard to lose a child but I certainly understand if you're unable to support him at this time and we will work hard to find him another loving sponsor very soon. As requested, I have added you to the waiting list for another teenager today. God bless and have a fun filled weekend!
