On November 18, 2018, we began sponsoring a child. How long does it take to be notified, so we can create an account and begin communicating with the child?

Hi Hugh! Welcome to the Compassion family. :) I would be happy to help you! How did you start sponsoring this child? Was it online or through an event? Either way, would you please send us the ID number of the child you signed up to sponsor? That will help us locate the child and see where our team is in the process of creating your account.

Thank you for the quick response. We signed up at a church event. Our child ID number is: H0032400788.

Wonderful! Thanks so much for providing us with that info. According to our records, we have set up an account for you, and your sponsor number isĀ 08510242. We should have sent you an email with that number and information on beginning your sponsorship, but the email address on your account reads "@suddenlink.com", while the address you've provided here ends with "@suddenlink.net". If .net is correct, then the email probably never got to you. Which email address is correct? We'd be happy to update accordingly. We also sent you a physical welcome booklet on November 20th, so you should be receiving that any day now!
