Do you know the exchange rate when I send extra money to my Compassion child? If I send $50 from the US, what is that in Thailand? I sent that amount for his birthday. When he wrote me back, he said he was able to buy pencils & paper. That's all.... What would be "a lot" of money in that country?

Wow!! Thank you so much for taking the time to help me! What a blessing. This will help me next time I send money. I guess I need to go back and reread the letter my Frank sent me. Surely they bought more with the money I sent. I also sent money to the family.... I wonder what they were able to buy??

Hey Monique, you should get a letter about any family gift as well! If it has been more than six months and you haven't heard about the family gift I would ask Compassion to look into that for you.
