Do sponsored kids receive the actual bookmarks, photographs, or cards we send in the physical letters we send them?

We have put little paper gifts in the envelopes of some of our letters to send to our kids, but we realized that with everything being digitized, they may not have received them. Is that correct? Hopefully they weren't too confused when they read about what we sent them since they didn't actually get them.

Sponsored kids will receive bookmarks, stickers, musical and pop up greeting cards. These are all delivered directly to the child.  If your package does not contain any of these, it is simply scanned and sent.  (But the quality of the scan. is very good. When I print a letter that has been sent to me, then later see the same letter sent through the mail to me from the Colorado office, many of those letters look better than I can print myself)
