Do you get backlogged during holiday times?

Hello, about three weeks ago I sent a physical letter to headquarters for my child. It contained a birthday card, a Christmas card, stickers and a letter(I put all into separate envelopes and then put all the envelopes into a bigger envelope). I had a representative online tell me it was received and another two tell me it was not received and could have been lost. Is it possible that my letter is sitting in a big pile somewhere in headquarters because it’s Christmas time and you all may be backed up so you haven’t even opened it yet?

Hi Chelsea! I am so sorry for all of the confusion and concern caused with your letter. Our office is closed for several days during the holidays, and many people do take extra time off as well, which means our processing times could be slower than normal currently. Do you remember the date you sent your letter? It may still show up in processing here soon, but I can't promise that it will. If it doesn't show up in the next week, I would highly recommend sending another one just in case it did get lost somewhere between you dropping it off and our office.
