Hi- I have been working on a letter to our child Nigel PE044300490 - I had a draft saved and continued working on and completing it a little while ago. I went to my phone to add photos from the phone app (it no longer shows drafts that I can see..)  and then I went back to the website on my computer. Now I cannot find that draft - PLEASE HELP :) !! Please say it is still there, somewhere. I see 3 drafts still there but there is no text there.

David, I am very sorry to hear that our letter writing tool isn't working for you right now. Regrettably, I cannot view your drafts. I can only see letters once they have been sent and I do not see any letters from the last few days having been sent from you to Nigel. Your letter is likely still in the drafts. The fact that you are not able to view the text makes me think that there is a glitch in the app. Do you only experience this on the app or on a computer as well? Are you able to access the drafts on a computer? What kind of phone do you have?

Hey Susan. I found the message below on one of my saved drafts. This is what I saw as I tried to add photos from my computer draft to my phone. I started a new letter to himn and the text was THERE!! Yay! Halleluyah!

Ah. To attach photos to a draft, you need to keep it as Letter -- NOT change to Upload. Click Next and your letter will appear. Click next again and the page to attach photos to will appear and that is how you attach photos but keep the text you have already put in.  The Upload option is to write a letter in Word, say, (I also use Canva) then save to an image format and upload the entire letter. (no more than 3 pages)

Well I  have never had that happen. It seems to be gone. I noticed as a I was closing it it said it is not in a savable format although I had been going back to it several times over a few days. I clicked to fast as I read that and then I couldn't recover it. I use an IMac desktop and was going to my phone to put pictures on the letter as I have done in the past. I have an IPhone 6 and it used to allow me to see drafts on the app but I couldnt find any this time. HAs there been a change on the app that wont allow that now? Or am I just not seeing it. Thanks SUsan - I will start a new letter - I am slow writing them and like to go back over several days to edit and add text. Guess I should copy as I go just to be sure :)

Perhaps put the words into a text document of some sort and only copy into the window when you are done?  (Though I'm not sure how to do this on the ipad) This is troubling.  I have not lost any letters. But I tend to write on the computer, not on the app. I just got a keyboard to be able to write letters on my ipad and I definitely have to go back and forth to get pictures so I'll keep an eye out for this!

Hello David, I am so sorry to hear that you are unable to locate your draft. I also go back and forth from the computer to the phone to add photos. I went to check on the mobile app and it looks like you do have to go to your account in order to view drafts now. When you are logged in to the app, there is a menu button on the bottom right corner, click there. On the bottom left of the screen you will see an option that says, My Account, click there. You will have to login, once you have logged in, you will be on the Account Summary page. On the left side of the page, click on Write My Child. Once you have done this, on the top left corner there is a menu button that is three lines, click here. A menu will come up and you can click on, My Drafts. Click the continue button for the draft that you are wanting to continue. It may have you select the template again, so go ahead a choose the template. Once you have selected the template, click on the green Next button at the top of the page. Once you have done this, your text should come back up for you. Then you will be able to continue the letter. I know it is a bit confusing. I hope this helps and you are able to complete your letter. Thank you so much for taking the time to write. Your letters are so encouraging to your child.
