I have been waiting to hear from you about the new child that I agreed to sponsor this year. I don't even remember her name by now. The lady I talked to on the phone that day said I could pay by the year for all 3 kids I have now. But like I said I thought you were sending me info on the new girl and then I would write out the one check. So because of the misunderstanding, I will mail out a check now for the 2 kids I've had for awhile now. When I get the information on the new child, then I'll send her check then. Is it on your records about the 3rd child? Or do I need to go in and choose another child? Please let me know.

You can pay by the year for your kids. But when sponsoring a new kid, you generally need to pay the first payment immediately -- and then can do the rest lump sum. Compassion will have to let you know about the status of a particular kid.

June, I am really sorry for the miscommunication. I show that you currently have two children on your account. I believe there was a miscommunication on our part when you called, and I am so sorry about that. The information for the third child was not entered into our system, so the information packet did not get sent out. 

If you would like to set up a third sponsorship, I would recommend going on the website and picking out a child there. You will need to process a one time donation by credit card or checking account, but then we can remove the automatic withdraw so that you can send in your check. If you prefer us to pick a child for you and send the information packet, we can certainly do that as well. This option will ensure that you can pay by check from the start. If you would like us to pick a child for you, please just let us know if you have any preference of where the child is from and what gender and age you would prefer for your sponsorship.
